Luna's First Backpacking Adventure (2017)

FIP

Luna hiked 11 miles over two days with us on August 12th & 13th! I thought I’d posted a blog about it, but I forgot! This hike was at Zaleski State Forest here in Ohio. This adventure was taken three weeks post-trial drug completion.

Jamison and I alternated each mile with her, and she would walk, ride on our pack, or want to be carried. Once we got the campsite set up, she had fun chasing bugs and people-watching as others hiked by, and of course, she loved the attention she received from those who took double-takes when they realized there was a back-packing camping cat! She decided how it was going to go!
